I'm a Senior Product Designer specialising in UI, visual craft, and design systems for enterprise and consumer products. I've been designing digital products for close to two decades across agency, freelance and in-house roles. I started in graphic design and moved into building websites by hand from 2006, learning HTML and CSS alongside visual design. That's shaped everything since: I don't just hand off screens; I own how they're built and shipped.

My core strength is UI and visual craft, and the systems that hold it together. I've built and maintained production front-ends myself, from static HTML through WordPress and into enterprise CMS stacks (Joomla, Drupal, Concrete5, Symfony/Sulu), writing SCSS, theming platforms end-to-end, and fine-tuning styling directly in live codebases when a build needs a design eye. More recently I build sites in Webflow and Framer, and now increasingly with Claude Code. Day-to-day I live in Figma, alongside Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity for research and production work.

I work the full lifecycle: figuring out what to build, wireframing, prototyping, testing direction with real users where I can, designing, building where it counts, and shipping. For me, discovery sits inside delivery: I validate direction as I build, not after the fact.

My work spans consumer apps (Jennis), large-scale editorial platforms (Sainsbury's Magazine), enterprise B2B (Fujitsu, EY, Grant Thornton) and brand and design-system work at Barclays, where I contributed icons, pictograms and templates to Blueprint, Barclays' design system, as part of the Group Brand team. I've shipped work that doubled newsletter readership, established icon construction standards adopted across an organisation, and delivered editorial and event microsites for enterprise clients under genuinely tight turnarounds.
